I used the Casio Ex-S3 (4 oz) for 2300 miles of the PCT (over three years),
eventually the on-off button broke.  I replaced it with the Casio s100 3 mp
(4 1/2 oz).  Advantages: weight, can carry in pocket. Disadvantages:
Internal batter requires charging every 3 weeks so you have to send a
charger ahead. (I sent extra batteries ahead-but alas, there is an INTERNAL
battery than also has to be charged). The weight is a dream-but the
re-charging every 3 weeks is a pain.  -Second Wind
