[pct-l] What is Washington like in November?

Here's my 2 cents:

If the choice were to hike Washington nobo in November vs. hiking it in
September, it would be a no-brainer for me and I'd flip now.

I lived in Vancouver BC for 18 years and went downhill skiing at Mt. Baker
(west of the trail, about 15 miles south of the Canadian Border) in mid-October
several times. By Thanksgiving, you could *count on* good skiing there.

I realize conditions at Mt Baker are probably different from those on the PCT
which is further east and might well get less precipitation, but I still don't
think I'd risk it if I had the option.
