[pct-l] What is Washington like in November?

If you can correctly predict what the weather will be like, you will be
better than the weather men/women. In 2000 I didn't finish until mid October
and had a few very cold, freezing mornings, very cold days, and clouds. But,
I also had lots of warm, dry weather too. And last year hikers had snow.
But, there also was sun and warm weather.

So, chances are that hikers will experience freezing weather, rain, and some
snow - and then sun and warmth. The cold could go on for several days in a
row. Could happen anytime from September on. In fact, although it was very
hot today, the clouds have now moved into Portland and may also be in the
mountains. So, tomorrow could be cold.

What that means is that flipping may not produce the results you want.
Oregon gets cold too.
