[pct-l] hiking suggestions

I am hoping to join my boyfriend, through-hiker Hidalgo, for a 3 or 4-day
hike somewhere between Ashland and Government Camp. We probably will average
about 15 miles a day. Does anyone have suggestions for good sections to
hike? It would be helpful to choose a spot that had decent access to public
transportation - an airport not too far away, and public transport to town
on the trail, if possible.
