I'd have to agree wholeheartedly.  After climbing Wyoming's highest 
peak, I was glissading down a steep slope and hit a giant sun cut which 
launched my about 5-7 feet in the air.  When I laned, I came down in 
the sitting position, but the bottom of the pack took the brunt of the 
impact and the ripped the hip belt right off the pack on one side.  
After I hiked out 86 miles with a 70lb pack and no hip belt (climbing 
gear weighs a lot), I called Osprey and they repaired the pack at no 
charge, no questions asked.  Great company!
