Two questions:  
1.  Who owns the Volcan Mountains and are we trying to get the trail to short 
cut Scissors crossing?  I hear the CA state parks now own the land.  Is that 
right? 

2. When is the optimal time for flowers, to section hike from Kennedy Meadows 
to Tuolomme Meadows?
