A professional adventure racer came and spoke to the outing club at my
college, and he said that it is possible to train your body for the heat.
Your body will increase it's sweat rate after being in a warm climate for a
while. You can trick your body into upping it's sweat rate before you go, by
exercising for a few weeks in excessive heat (i.e. wearing heavy
sweats/fleece) One word of caution, I think he said something about being
careful when you do this, because you could easily overheat severely while
exercising in this fashion.
