I have a 3RS. The weights are accurate and the tent seems to be quite
sturdy. It is reinforced in all the right places and the fabric, while
light, appears to be very tough.
The tent sets up far more easily than ANY tent (free standing or not) that I
have ever used.
Newer versions of the tent cannot be pitched in a pool of water. There are
little strips that allow condensation on the end cones to exit the tent that
will also allow standing water in. This has not been a problem for me.
Despite the claims, I WAS able to abrade the floor fabric. I had to pitch
the tent on low scrub and that abraded, but did not tear, the fabric. I
patched things up with some silicon calk and now use a ground cover (light
painters cloth taped to the bottom of the tent).
The 3RS is the version with double walls and side windows. The side windows
are WONDERFUL in the summer.
