Is mails like this (guess I'm contributing now) really neccessary? Of course
you might disagree, but why tell everyone? This was by far the best advice
I've seen so far. And he just told how they what they had done. Couldn't see
any explisit advice there about braking the rules...
The really bad part is this though: "Did you ask your dog if he/she wants to
become a thru-
hiker? Does taking your dog on a 2,600 mile hike border on abuse to animals?
Do you consider yourself a dog lover and then subject them to abuse like
this?"
Why bother with the first (2) questions if your going to judge any
thru-hiking dog(owner) with the last question anyway?
