[pct-l] questions for the thru,...

hey all, just stressing a bit from a few minor things.
Wondering how much film to order? i'm using rolls of 36 only, and 40 rolls
would be 1 roll per 3.7 days. sound about right?

Traveller's checks: did anyone ever have problems with the $ amount being too
large for a shop to cash? i ran into that last summer in n. cal. so what
amount works best and roughly how much do you carry and how long does it
last. (I know full well that it all matters on how much you've mailed to
yourself and how much you want to pig out and enjoy yourself in the towns,
too)

I finally picked up the PUR Hiker. for those who used it, how many filters
did you go through? I still may use the polar pure iodine. 3 ounces vs. 12,
 instant water vs. a half hour wait minimum. hmm.
