[pct-l] Re: JMT/PCT Yo-Yo Hike

Switchback, try those tears! I think we may have found your solution. If trail magic or santa don't come thru for you, you can always consider this...ummm...unique plan to fund your historic JMT yo-yo attempt! Some brazen young tart who was careful enough to post her first name posted this on trailforums a few days ago:

Paying my way the old fashion way
I don't want to sound crude but I have a question. I am 22 years old female and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to pay for my thru hike by offering "favors" for the men on the trail. I would rate myself as fairly attractive. Maybe a 7 out of 10. Has anyone else done this before? I'm sure there are plenty of men willing to pay for it after several weeks alone. Please don't judge me for this. I just want to hear your honest opinions, not a bunch of condemning puritanical bs.

I am teary eye as I write this. Your concern and support is touching for my historic 2006 JMT Yo-Yo Hike.

Planning will robustly move forward when the trail communities very generous monetary support rolls in. Any money donations and trail magic will be humbly received and well used. I want to get a new LuxuryLite carbon fiber pack frame with their super light cylinders. I think it comes in at 28 ounces for this external frame pack.

Again, I am deeply grateful and humbled. I just can't go on. Sorry. I am starting to cry again.
