[pct-l] RE: Gravity

A car in nuetral will roll uphill? Not possible... that would violate the laws of physics. My guess is that you visited one of those touron traps that claims such a thing, but in reality is just an optical illusion. Check out this site. http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/General/roll-uphill.html

This is what happens when you apply the laws of physics to a question.

Subject: [pct-l] BackpackingLight Print Magazine - Scam?
Message-ID: <20051206161539.12754.qmail@web25605.mail.ukl.yahoo.com>

I have suscribed the BackpackingLight Newsletter and
have so far enjoyed reading it. Because I found it
very interesting I have now ordered a suscription of
the BackpackingLight Print Magazine by Beartooth
Mountain Press.
I have ordered it (and they have charged my credit
card) more than a month ago but I have not yet
received any shipment. I have therefore complained at
their customer service. The answer took one week and
they told me that their mass shipments can take up to
four weeks. Now more than four weeks have passed and I
have still not received any shipment. I came to the
conclusion that the whole thing might be a scam and
wonder whether I should reverse the credit card
charge.
Has anybody suscribed the magazine and actually
received it or have you made similar bad experiences?
Thank you for any information,
German Tourist (PCT 04)
