[pct-l] RE: Gravity

I dont see how a change in density could cause a change in gravity, since gravity is directly porportanil to the product of the masses involved in the attraction. A pound of lead weighs the same as a pound of feathers even though the lead is more dense. They both have the same mass in the specified quantitys. In other words, You, mass 1 is attracted to the earth mass2 as a product of your masses. M1*M2/d2 where d is the distance between the two masses. The gravitational effect decreases inversly proportanal to the square of the distance between the two mases. In other words, gravity is increasing because of an increase in mass... mainly people are more massive. I doubt the earth has increased much in mass, although I am sure we are bombarded with metorites in small quantites over the years. People on the other hand have definatly increased in mass... just look around. Lots of overweght people. So next time you cross forrester pass, drop some of you mass, and it will be eaiser. (there is the pct tie-in to make it all leagal. One more thing about gravity: I am not talking about specific gravity which does take into account the density... rather this is about Newtonian gravity.

I'd be interested to know which of Ron's packs Yogi fell in love with....and
why.: The Starlite, Comet or soon to be released Essence.
Thanks
