[pct-l] pct runners?
David Horton did it in 2005 in 66 days, 7 hours, 16 minutes. See
Hortons website: http://www.extremeultrarunning.com/. Montrail's
website (www.montrail.com) had a page regarding Horton's adventure.
It has been taken down. You might also read The Fastest Hike: Quest
for the PCT Record (2004; by Ray Greenlaw) and Soul, Sweat and
Survival on the Pacific Crest Trail (1994; by Bob Holtel). Short
answer: It has been done with minimal gear, but not without some sort
of support crew.
