[pct-l] Re: pct-l Digest, Vol 28, Issue 35

I can attest to the fact that this is an awesome little camera - and VERY sturdy. We dropped it a bunch in the Sierras last year and it is still ticking away. The pictures are awesome too. The best part about it???

It fits PERFECTLY in the little pockets on the hipbelt of my ULA P2 along with my compas, chapstick, and my mini leatherman.

Chuck-

I would also endorse the Pentax Optio43WR. I just got
one for my upcoming hike...needed something H20 proof
after destroying my camera from water damage on the
AZT last fall. It is a really sleek little camera and
the user interface is very simple (icons!) and
straightforward. There is a newer Optio on the market,
but I searched until I found the older style (boxy,
black) because it has a viewfinder and the new one
does not. Saves major battery life.
