Re: Keeping the PCT clean
Hi all,
We are section hikers and just completed Sections L
and M. Once again I was struck by the contrast between
the litter encountered while on the PCT (minimal
amounts, generally left accidentally--such as a hiking
pole) and that found along roadsides, at trailheads,
and at other sites frequented by the "general public"
(bullet shells, beverage cans, etc.).
I think most who use the PCT love it and try to show
their regard for it by helping care for it. Many
thanks to llama lady, runkitty, and Trekker and all
others who help keep the trail as beautiful as it is.
Happy trails
