Individually packaged string cheese will last MUCH more than 3 days without 
refrigeration, as long as the individual plastic package is not broken.  I 
think I found one in my pack once that had been there for over a month and 
it was still good.

Steel-Eye, I would like to get some of the powered cheddar cheese that you 
mentioned. Is it available in any stores or only by mail order. Any 
suggestions for a good source would be appreciated. Thanks.
