Boy Scouts often rent their property to other groups. 

Logistically, Mataguay would be difficult as the campsites are spread over
many acres, unless we used the camporee field. RV camping most likely would
not be available.

Lost Valley Camp, well, the road past the PCT gets even worse. Probably the
only road worse near the PCT is the road to VVR.

Another downside for some, and upside for others, is that no alcohol is
allowed on BSA property.

 There are two boy scout camps in the Warner Springs area.  Camp Mataguay
very close by and Lost Valley Camp up near Chihuahua Valley.
