[pct-l] Why I Boycotted the ADZPCTKO . . .



I am certain there are some great, and perhaps more accessible, locations than my initial suggestion, that have suitable facilities.  I truly appreciate that, at minimum, a dialogue about this topic may get underway.  Thank you.

I remember talking with Donna about this when I (and 50+
other hikers) stayed with her and Jeff last year.  I think
what she says makes a lot of sense.  My only change would be
to suggest a location that was more accessible than Kennedy
Meadows.  If you want hikers to come from north and south
of the event, KM is probably not a good location.  How many
people would bail out of the Sierra to come back to KM?

I think maybe somewhere around Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead
in mid-May might be something to consider.
