[pct-l] June 1st Sobo Kickoff?

I'm committed to a SoBo. I live in the desert near the south end of the PCT
and the last thing I want to see is more dammed desert flowers I wana see
trees, and besides I think I like the idea of walking home.
Can we make the Sobo Kickoff the last weekend of May?
