People have analyzed northbound start dates to death over the years.
Does anyone have thoughts about a reasonable southbound start date with
these low snow levels?  June 1?  May 15?  June 15?

I've never been in the northern Cascades and have absolutely no clue
what's reasonable.  And I suppose late-season snowstorms that change
everything are more plausible near the Canadian border than the Mexican...
