[pct-l] Technology on the Trail



Being the instigator of the ultralight guitar thread, I must echo Mark's
last message. Even more, why not view technology as a means for facilitating
that important connection between humans and wilderness. As technology
advances in a shrinking an increasingly human world, we can at least be more
creative in how we use that technology to interface with nature. Being alone
and walking in the wild seems to me to be one opportune moment for musical
inspiration. If we can then make and record that music on the spot, why NOT
do it?? Although I am still dealing with that story of the 'mouse carrying
the grand piano'. That's scares me...
