[pct-l] VVR

Having just driven VVR twice in three days - I second dude's
recommendation to AVOID at all costs VVR driving. It took me 2.5 hours
to drive the 18-20 miles. It thunderstorms in the afternoon which is
scary when you are driving 5 miles an hour around a blind curve,
pothole road and can look over a cliff on one side. Also, they charge a
fee for parking - actually they charge a fee for everything and prices
are high. So I would choose something else.

The Sonora Pass area has parking if I recall corectly and most people
are ditching their bear canisters there so it seems to be less bear
populated. But that is likely out of the way for you.

Nina.
