In 2001 I left Campo.  I walked into Morena at the end of that first day and 
discovered there was such a thing as ADZPCTKO.  I didn't know it existed, it 
didn't know this list existed...I just walked.  I didn't think I could make it 
to Mt. Laguna in one day, so I left Saturday afternoon and missed Meadow Ed's 
water report... guess what, I survived.   All the books and lists and reports 
and maps become unimportant one foot from the monument at the border.  Don't 
worry about it.  Just walk.
