[pct-l] RE: National Geographic Adventure magazine



Let me add - today in Portland is absolutely fabulous: sunny, clear, over
60. From Portland you can see Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt.
Hood - all covered with snow.

It is possible that a hike up Hamilton Mountain on the Washington side may
be possible (about 4 miles) and has views toward the PCT - you can see a
little of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams from there. But, it won't look like summer.
