[pct-l] leg cramps

I like and use Emergen-C for the same purpose. Lots of adventure racers
I know use Hammer Endurolytes instead:
http://www.e-caps.com/products/detail.cfm?div=Products&cat=Hammer&det=En
durolytes&sku=EL

Hammer also sells liquid meal-replacements for extended endurance
events. I wonder if anybody has tried such products for super-ultra
distance events like a PCT thru-hike.

It's worth the time to check out the E-Caps product literature, if only
to follow their reasoning on the nutritional needs of athletes. I don't
actually use their products, however (too expensive).

Kent.

Emergen-C, which is a powder that you mix with water is very effective
for
both treating and preventing leg cramps. It's available at grocery
stores
and at www.alacer.com
