[pct-l] MT Whitney PCT - JMT route
The JMT section out of Reds Meadow sees a lot of pack animal traffic and
consequently, is quite dusty with a lot of "organic" material in the loose
soil...they don't call it the John Manure Trail for nothing...I have hiked
the JMT several times and last year was the first time that I took the
official PCT route from Reds to Thousand Isles and I liked it much
better...I thought the views across the canyon to Shadow Lake and the
waterfall was very beautiful..and the trail was in much better shape...
