[pct-l] cold weather clothes

I'd carry warm clothes from the border to Sierra City.  It can be cold 
in the south and you will be at high elevation on many nights.
By warm clothes, I mean a set of thermals, hat, gloves, and some sort 
of warm jacket, like a fleece or a primaloft pullover. This year a big, 
nasty storm hit the main pack of hikers in the San Jacinto mnts. 
It was cold at night perhaps 1/4-1/3 of the way to Kennedy Meadows.
