[pct-l] sun protection
I don't know about color, but I can say something about the type of fabric
to use in the desert. My experience is to not use polypropylene in the
desert under the hot sun - it seems to let the rays right through, feels
very hot, and can burn.
So, that leaves light weight cotton, nylon, silk, etc. - at least for desert
use. After Kennedy Meadows, I found that I could use polypropylene OK (as
long as I wasn't sun burned in the first place).
