I like to make sweet bread - like
Pony Express Trail Bread from LipSmackin' Backpackin'

Then I dry it in my dehydrator.  I've never had
problems with it going moldy.

You do have to be careful not to crack your teeth on
it. :)

I loved having this on the trail - it offset the lack
of crunch in my cooked dinners.
