Probably won't help much but temps were in the low 20's with a squeaky 4" of 
new snow on the ground on June 1 on Badden Powell
 About 10 days later it was 110 in the Mojave. 45 minutes of hiking at a time 
was all I could take. There were a couple very cold nights in October in Wa., 
I'd guess 15 - 20, where I couldn't really stay warm at night
