[pct-l] Sierra runs

I've hiked in the areas between Yosemite and Lassen for the last 10 years and 
always treat my water, either with iodine or a filter and have never gotten 
sick. Every study I've seen suggests there isn't a stream in the Sierra with 
giardia. The only safe untreated water comes from springs, which are very rare 
in a granite bound environment.
