[pct-l] Giardia strikes the thru's!
Seeing as I started this, let me offer an update.
June 11, "I?m beat. Exhausted. Not sure why.
June 12, "I pooped so many times today that I lost count. That?s not
good. The last one was more like an explosion than a bowel movement
June 13, "Those explosions lasted until about 2pm It was not
pleasant. Every time I dropped my pack, I went tearing off into the
woods with my orange trowel."
June 14, "I took the pill this morning.... I felt much better all day."
June 15, "Oh! My! Gosh! Today was FUN!" [and this was the day
they climbed Forrester]
So actually, I beginning to think that Shawnie was correct when he/she
wrote, "Nah giardia diarrhea is not explosive.. sounds more like food
poisoning." and then offered this site:
http://www.giardiaclub.com
which BTW lists the incubation time as 2 weeks.
