No, it isn't. I've often said that new and improved frequently isn't.
But that also doesn't mean it never is. It's not an either/or. That's
why you can't rely on just the wisdom and experience of others.
Sometimes it really is better. Sometimes "they" are simply wrong, long
years of experience not withstanding. Sometimes you just have to jump
out there and try it. 
BTW, I always felt that Ma and Pa stores sucked. I'll take a huge super
store, along with their selection and pricing, any day of the week....

kid 
and it got bigger as time past. Gone is the little Ma and Pa store where
you 
bought ice cream and penny candy. Today , in it's place is a strip mall
with 
Auto parts store , a Subway Sandwich shop etc. Is it much today than 20
twenty 
year ago?
