[pct-l] Parking Whitney P and Florence L?

Does anybody know if one has to do anything special to park cars long-term 
(for backpacking) at the Whitney Portal and Florence Lake parking lots?  
Does the car need a permit or something or is there a section of the parking 
lot designated for JMT hikers?
