[pct-l] leaving the trail

I can top that. I quit wih only ONE NIGHT left to go 20 miles from the
border. A howling  2 day blizzard that dropped over 2 feet of snow made it
barely possible to retreat 5 miles ( it took 8 hours) back to Harts Pass and
then a long road walk down to Mazama. Sure, I was disappointed but on
reflection I thought it was a cool way to end the hike. Besides, I had
already hiked the last 20 miles before
