Hmmm...  Sounds like I slept in the Grave Yard in 2000.  We didn't stop until dark.  I am glad I didn't know it at the time.

The locals I met in Belden were great!
Leaving I had to take the alternate route North in 2001 .The Pct being
closed due to a landslide.A short way up the trail I saw some great flat
spots to setdown for the night.Luckily it was still light enough that I
realized the flat spots were graves without markers and that on the side of
this mountain,far from any roads,was a local graveyard.Yikes that would have
been weird.
