[pct-l] RE Fires

The Walker fire is still burning as of Thursday, but the source and =
prevailing winds continue to push it east from the east side of the =
Sierra. PCT is a ways west. As always, pay attention to the weather - if =
the local winds change to a westerly direction look for trouble.

FYI  the town of Walker is on HWY 395, and located NE of Yosemite. Thru =
hikers might see the smoke column to the east from Sonora Pass north.
