Even as a section hiker, once I got three different
sections in on different occasions a month apart they all sort of got mixed up.
Basically when you are on the trail you are in a dream. Or is it when
you are not on the trail you are in a nightmare? Either way, you can't
remember a dream in detail when you are awake,
all you get is unpredictable isolated flashbacks, and all your dream
memories tend to run together after a while.
