Come see Doug Gates talk about what goes into a long distance hike of 3 to 5
months on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Even though he only completed a small portion of the trail in 2000 and will
return in 2003 to complete his quest, his knowledge of planning and
organizing for a long distance thru hike will be very valuable for anyone
who is planning a long distance hike anywhere.
>From how much it will cost, to what products are better than others, to what
to expect when you get there, Doug will be available to answer all of your
questions.
He will have a  slide show and then will answer any questions that you might
have.
