The Vermilion Valley Resort on Edison Lake is at 65% of normal as of
3/26/01 There is 6 feet of snow at Kieser Pass (9200 ft ele.) This is
definatley a drought year for this part of the mountains. Although we do
rely on mother nature to open we are expecting an early opening. Normal
on Kieser Pass is about 11 feet at this time. It is hot here and it is
melting fast. Have a great hike!!
