Both the Kelty Cloud and [presumably based on the website] the Flight suffer
from the same problem. They are designed for a 17-19" torso length [Cloud.
16-19" Flight] that is inappropriate for someone with a small back -- a
woman for example. Additionally, the Cloud's [and presumably the
Flight's]hip belt, while wonderful for a man's flat hips, works less well
for a woman's curved hips. Data: The Cloud worked poorly for my 5'-4" 130
pound wife. The stays were much to long and the rigid hip belt [that I
loved] was very uncomfortable.

I got a Kelty Flight for Christmas. Its exactly the same as the Kelty Cloud
but made of different material and therefore weighs about 4 ounces more. The
REAL difference is that the Cloud is $500 while the Flight is $200. I figure
4 ounces isn't worth $300. I love its versatility. I've already stripped it
down to 1.4 pounds for a couple of winter day hikes. EVERYTHING can be
removed from it to make it suitable for any type of outing.
