[pct-l] preparing for altitude

Hey Owen - I was glad to hear it takes about three days to adjust to 
altitude.  Did I get that right?  I spent the night at Silver Lake (7-8,000 
feet) thinking I'd adjust by the next morning, which I didn't.  So maybe 
I'll try longer next time.  I just do day hiking in that area and the 
altitude kills me.
