And does this mean that you agree with (they were all legal in their time...and still are in some places) blacks in the back of the bus, women being stoned, Jews being slaughtered etc.? Any time any government tells me it's for my own good or even for the good of society as a whole, not just the victim of a particular crime, history has taught me to run...as fast as I can. I have absolutely no problem in ignoring any law I disagree with and lying to the government about it. This principle was proposed and up held by the U.S. government at Nuremburg. Ultimately each of us must decide which laws we will and won't obey. I'd only be stealth camping in MY part of the National Park anyway. Feel free to do it your way in YOUR part of the park.
Your way of thinking was loved and embraced by the National Socialist Party in Germany in the '30s and '40s.
Hitler made the low countries in 6 weeks with an army of obey the law at all costs and don't think about it men. You'd have been a BIG hit with him.
If 3 years in the field in the Marine Corps Infantry in Viet Nam taught me nothing else, it taught me to ALWAYS question the government and to make my own decisions on how I will and won't conduct myself. Oh, yes...it also taught me to be REALLY good at stealth camping and dealing with any problems it produces...=o)
