In reply to "The Weathercarrot" and to Stephen Martin - troubadour, about 
resupply at Echo Lake.  A bit of information for all:  Lesya Struz and I 
called on Sam at the Sunset Inn at So. Lake Tahoe this past fall during the 
National Trails Conference at Lake Tahoe and learned (to our consternation) 
that he is no longer accomodating thru-hikers.  We both stayed next door at 
the Tahoe Sundowner Motel (530)541-2282 and tried to make some points with 
the owner there - left our cards & a brochure, but not sure what success.  
Also, the restaurant just next door on east side of Sundowner has GREAT and 
bountiful breakfasts - owner said he would offer a discount to PCT hikers.  

Looking forward to seeing all you hikers at the ADZPCTKO party and on the 
trail this year!
