Re: [pct-l] Weight gain after the trail

I lost 140lbs eleven years ago. I have had the weight off ever since
then. Believe it or not, I even hiked and skied at some pretty scarey
weights. I was over 300 lbs at one point. I did a pretty long section
hike through the Sierras last summer that included the jmt. As soon as I
was done and ate everything in sight in Lone Pine, Bishop, and June Lake
on my drive home I started eating a lot less food. I gained back the 7
or so pounds I lost on the hike pretty fast, but no more. I started
training for a marathon I ran two weeks ago in September. I got pretty
lean and now again I have to EAT LESS FOOD if I want to maintain my
current weight. It is all about EATING LESS FOOD when my activity level
decreases[thank God I am doing a 1/2 marathon in Febuary, a full
marathon in June and another long section hike in July and August:0)]
