As far as I know you need the Topo! CD to view the maps on it. What I
uploaded was the route information. The alternative is to cut up the
guidebook.

The main advantage of the TOPO! approach is full color maps that are larger
in scale than the guidebook. The guidebooks are more accurate due to errors
I undoubtedly made tracing the route from the guidebook.

What apparently is NOT an option is standard topo maps for the southern
section. In most cases the trail is NOT marked. You would need to trace the
route from the map as I did. Like sly commented, it is probably faster to
walk the trail than trace the trail.

You will need BOTH the SanDeigo and LA CD to get to Agua Dulce. About $80.
