[pct-l] Misquote



Just to be straight --
I didn't say this, I quoted it from a recent Digest, in which this was said 
by someone else in a humorous context.
That is the reason I put the << and >> quotation marks around it and 
isolated it spatially from my comment.

A 42-gallon drum would be more for the ultralighters; it certainly wouldn't 
do the trick for a real throughhiker.

BTW -- Phenal Pinkerbody!  How is your culvert-based alcohol stove design 
coming along?

I've been able to locate a source of bulk Dehydrated H2O if anyone is 
interested.  It would probably be more appropriate for the S. Cal sections, 
though.

Sorry fokes Greg's connections with the oil industry will not help a barrel 
of
oil is 42 gallons ! Maybe a geologist from the environmental industry would
have a DOT drum he could use (recycled of course)
