[pct-l] no-no on phone

RJ Calliger. Your response to Sly was "If you want to respond let's take
it iff list." I do not know if you are referring specifically to Sly,
the conversation, or something else. I do not feel responding to you
over the List inappropriate.
I happen to agree with Sly. For me, there is always the issue of what
behavior, where, in what situation. Its not the caller, its not cell
phones, in my humbule opinion, its the the combination of a (1) cell
phone (2) in the finest of all living things: the out-of-doors. I would
never expect to see or hear a cell phone being used while engaging in a
climb or having reached the top. I understand the callers excitement
and desire to communicate to someone he/she cares for. But, for me there
is still the issues of what fits the situation: I put my feet on my
coffee table, I never would put my feet on your coffee table. I feel a
cell phone in the out-of-doors not a good mix. Thanks for listening and
if this is not suitable topic of conversation for the List, please
someone advise me.
