Just spent a week climbing on and around Mt Adams in the southern part of our state. Lots of snow still but warmer weather has finally kicked in and things are melting fast. Snow still in heavy patches at the 3500-4000 ft level with it still being pretty thick at 4500 and above. Real dependent on northern vs southern expousure. The PCT around Adams it self still has six to ten feet of snow still in some parts yet. Friends in the northen part of the state still report heavy snow pack above 4500 with the assumption that many parts of the trail will not melt out this year.
